I'm happy to present Jeff Bandelin's work– a 2000 KU grad. I remember some excellent work he did for Illustration.
Jeff has worked on the animated sketch comedy show called "VH1 Ill-ustrated" as character designer, and is currently working at newgrounds.com as an artist/animator. He's also creating art for web and iphone games.

The following images are from various illustrations, flash animation, and games.

Matt Twombly

For the next few months I'll be highlighting some of the many talented illustrators and designers that I’ve had the privilege of teaching in my 35 year career (30 years at Kutztown University.) Look for a new one every week.

First up is Matt Twombly.

Matt graduated from Kutztown in the Fall of 2008, concentrating in illustration and graphic design. Currently, he lives in Washington, D.C. and works as a senior art associate for Science magazine, an international academic journal published weekly. His job mostly consists of page layouts for the news sections of the magazine which often includes fun things like scientific diagrams, charts, maps, and other graphics. But, he also gets to do editorial illustrations for news articles. He’s been with Science for just about 2 years. Besides illustration work for Science though, he creates comics in hopes of one day making it into the biz.
You can contact Matt at matthew.j.twombly@gmail.com
and his blog, which he updates sporadically is found HERE.
Here are some samples of his work.

Enjoy...

It's been a while since I've spoken in an illustration class and... I loved it!
I really appreciate being invited by Professor Cora Lynn Deibler. (You know you're getting old when your former students are now professors.)
The kids were great in the afternoon session, as well as, at the evening Powerpoint. Here are some shots from Cora Lynn's class.
They were listening while they ate the penny candy I brought.
